This is my demo reel and I used premire pro to create it. It contains animations of individual assetts from some of my projects. I singled out each object ad rotated it around 360 degrees to show off the entire piece. I also took picture of the final product and added it into the reel with an into title to each of them. To make the titles I used photoshop. I added music to the background of it and rendered it.

This is the WIP of my demo reel. This is the first of 6 projects that I need to render as 15 second videos to then put together as a demo reel. I will be taking the 6 videos and putting them into Adobe Premire, adding music, and then some final touches to it. After that I will render it as a video. The other 5 projects are my previous portfolio prrojects. Each of these projects will be 450 frames long at a frame rate of 30 frames per second.
This is my 6th portfolio project. The table was the first thing I finished making and it was a cube that was extruded until it looked like the table. The chain on the table was a circle spline that was placed in a loft nurb. I then copied it until I had a large amount of chain. The bullseye was a textured circle and te kunai was a diamond spline in a loft nurb followed by a circle in a loft nurb. The sickle was a custom spline that was placed in a loft nurb which was placed into a cyllinder. All of the weapons are attatchd by chain.
This is the work in progress for my chain weapons. The chains are made of loft nurbs and splines. The kunai is made of loft nurbs and splines and so is the end of the weapons. The sickle is a loft nurb and a bezier spline. The cylinder is made of circle splines and loft nurbs. I am going to be adding more chain by duplicating it and attaching it to the other chains to make them longer and finishing the chain off with a blunt end (middle piece).
This is my fifth portfolio project. This is the armory that I thought of in my head. I used mainly splines to make all of the blades. To make the indents I used cubes and booles. For the handles I used either splines and lathe nurbs and or cubes. For the racks in the armory I used cubes and put them next to each other. To line up all of the objects I used the symmetry tool to make sure they were evenly apart from the other objects. For the textures I used two textures that I found (both metals for the blades and handles) and I made the floor, wood and wall textures with Cinema.
This is my fifth portfolio piece WIP. It will be an armory or blacksmithing area. I currently have a dagger that doubles as a sword breaker and a WIP great sword and WIP katana. I need to add handles and depending on what room I decide to make, I will either make a forge area or a weapon rack. I used splines and lathe nurbs to make the shape of the blades and Symmetry to make them swordlike. Each sword excluding the dagger will have a gem and/or style to each.
This is my fourth project, a skateshop. The glass container is a cube that has a glass texture. The marble counter is a cube that has a boole to allow the glass cube to appear. The skateboards are held up by stands which are lathe nurbs that contain splines. The skateboards are cubes that have a hyper nurb on them. The wheels are splines with lathe nurbs. The trucks on the skateboard are splines and lathe nurbs.
This is my work in progress for my fourth project. This is a skateboard shop design with three skateboards. I'm planning on either changing the skateboards to different shapes. I will add wall mounts to the wall of the shop. To make the boards, it is just a cube resized and angled differently. The trucks are splines in lathe nurbs and cubes extruded. The wheels are splines in lathe nurbs. The glass and "table" are cubes.
Not the best looking piece of art but this is my star trek chessboard. All of the pieces are made from cubes, splines, and booles. When all of the pieces are individually 3D printed each piece should be balanced enough to stand and fit together to stand like this. All of the tops with the board on them is removable and each has a hallow square that will fit onto a square to keep the board stable. The center piece with the arms also has a square to hold the chessboard together.
This is my 3rd project. It is not rendered but when it is done rendering will post it below this one. I used cubes for the bed and splines for the blanket all put together with a loft nurb. The chair is made of cylinders and cubes. Both get extruded and sone of the cubes were filleted. The random glass box is a picture that I found on the internet and I put a frame around it using cubes. The lamp used lathe nurbs and splines. The desk is made of cubes and the drawers on it are made of loft nurbs and splines.
This is my work in progress for my fourth portfolio piece. This will become my room design. I am currently making a lamp for the desk. I still have to make a bed and possibly a glass of water. I will also need to make the actual room and not just the things inside of the room. I made the desk with mainly cubes shaped differently and the handle for the desk and the chair are mainly lathe and loft nurbs.
This is a sort of sketch of my plans for my cityscape. The background will be full of houses and the main focus will be a huge office building. The cube in the center of the scene will become a small bakery of deli shop. The black will become a street. There will be street lights and the grey will be sidewalks. I have made other assets for the houses and other buildings. The houses in the background will be spread evenly and will look nicer in the final product.
This is the finished product of my logo. It is a lotus with the text reading lotus designs. I changed the color of each of the flower to represent the Lotus (pink), Black Lotus, and White Lotus. I used photoshop to make the text and logo design. The logo was created by finalizing my sketch previously posted. I also removed the LD because it didn't fit with the design.
This is the rendered version of the product I designed. I made a new design for a rolex watch. I used Cinema 4D to make the watch and Photoshop to edit a face texture. I then got the rolex logo and edited it into the watch face. After I made the model for the watch I added the wristband which is a cube that was matrix extruded repeatedly until it connected to make the watch.
This is my second portfolio piece. It is a product design for Rolex and it's a new watch. I used many lathe nurbs and Extrude nurbs. For the leather wrist part I used an array extrude. This is the pre-rendered form of the watch. I will post the finished product when it is done. The sketch from last week will be completed over this next week.
This is my rough sketch/ outline for my Logo. I used photoshop to draw out the Lotus and LD. I found a nice looking font and made it say LotusDesign. I have to make a fine lineart then I will color it. The LD color is temporary to show that it is there. I will be using a tablet and photoshop to finish this project.
The First project for the new school year starts off with a business card. I used photoshop to make it. Layer masks were used to remove extra imagery from the picture used. I used a lotus that I made in Cinema4D. The lotus was a lathe nurb that was originally a spline. I then used a boole to give it its indent and the center is just a sphere. I put the petals together and rotated it until it looked like a lotus. I used the text tool on photoshop to add text.
I made the chair Noah assigned out of polygons. I used cylinders and bevels to make the legs. For the hole I used a boole. I made the seat for the chair out of polygons and I used the polygon tool to make it an object. To make the texture for the chair I added a slight reflection and layers.
I made the glasses and tires out of polygons. I used cylinders and bevels to make the tore. For the glasses I used a sweep nurb. I made the arms for the glasses out of loft nurbs. To make the texture for the glass I added transparency and reflections.
This is my grandfather clock. I used cubes and booled them and I used a cylinder to make the clock face I used a lathe nurb to make the top of the clock. I Made the hands out of an arrow and extruded it. I then added a layer over the open sections to add glass. After that I used shapes to make the rest of the clock.
This wee I made pens and robot phones. I sed Loft nurbs and circles to make the pens. I used a cube to make the body of the phone and buttons. I filleted all of the cubes used on the phones. I used a cylinder to make the arms and and legs. I then used the joint tool to make them shape into the form I wanted them to. I added in weapons from my extra projects and rendered it.
I used loft nurbs to make the tires and I used booles to make the tires. I used premade logs and textured them. The posts are just resized squares. The Front of the truck is a combination of filleted cubes, booles, and cylinders. The ground is a landscape object modified and the texture is a mountain texture with a bump added
This is my Lego Posse. I used shapes and booled them to make them hallowed out. I used lathe nurbs to create the head and I used loft nurbs to make the arms. To make the rest of the body I put shapes together. I used a sphere and used the brush tool to make the hair.
This is my pencil I made using a loft nurb and I used mostly circles to make this. I used circles to make the eraser and hexagons to make the shape of the pencil. I made the led inside of the pencil with circles and the point of the led is a small circle.I made the notebook by getting a rectangle and booling it with cylinders and I used a spiral to make the binding for the notebook
This is the chess set and stool that I made this week. I just put shapes together to make the stool and I used my bottle from the Glass project to complete the bar. The chess set is on top of a table that happens to be the board. I used mainly lathe and extrude nurbs to made the chess set.
